When will my website appear in Google?Although your site will be submitted to the major search engines upon completion it can take from 24 hours to 3-4 weeks to be recognised in a browser search. Your website will still be available from links and in direct toolbar entry.
When will my site appear in Keyword Searches in Google?Your website will be optimised to it’s full potential but search engine position or time scale to reach it is only an estimate based on individual circumstances.

Please note: Any content submitted to Green Cottage Design in text or image must be copyright free or owned solely by the client.
Green Cottage Design take no responsibility for illegally reproduced material supplied by the client.
All re-designs are undertaken on the assumption that the client own’s or has written permission to reproduce all coding, images and design for the original website.
Copyright Green Cottage Design retain all copyrights to graphics photographs and coding produced for the client and does not forfeit or surrender any rights to clients to re-engineer, duplicate or resell any part of the aforementioned design work without consent.
Thereafter provided any such images and design are presented tastefully, ethically and do not in any way bring defamation against Green Cottage Design they are available for promotion of said clients business only on written consent by Green Cottage Design. A fee may be payable depending on intended usage.
Green Cottage Design retains the right to display any such graphics in the promotion or advertising of our website and design services.
Hosting and maintenence terms are a minimum of two years. After this a fee may be charged for transferrence of hosting to another provider.Green Cottage Design will actively engage against any breaches to our copyright.

Terms and Conditions

Cost of design: This covers:
Bespoke design to client specifications.
Search engine optimisation (S.E.O.) within design & coding
Initial holding page whilst site is constructed.
Construction time upon receipt of all necessary artwork & photographs within 2 weeks of final proof.
Payment 1: 50% Design deposit
Payment 2 : (£50% Design balance + hosting & maintenance) payable upon uploaded website.

Hosting and maintenance: payable one year in advance, minimum term 2 years) *refers to extended hosting
This covers:
Webspace and hosting
Web mailbox and dedicated email addresses
Quarterly or *Monthly statistics and subsequent optimisation
Google local business/Maps listings (if applicable)
Submission to the major search engines
Quarterly or *Monthly updates/amendments
Up to 4 updates/amendments per quarter/*month (Paragraph text, contact details or photo substitution.)
Advice and help with raising your business profile.

Pay as you go: minimum term 6 months payable in advance.
Free 3 page bespoke brochure design (special design requirements may incur additional costs) copyright to all design, images and coding remains the property of Green Cottage Design at all times.
Hosting and maintenance (as above) at £25.00 per month
After the initial 6 months the client is free to cancel the contract at any time at which point the website will be removed from service. After 24 months the client has the choice to pay the standard 3 page design fee and drop to the standard hosting rate or continue with pay as you go.
